America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League has shared an early release performance from Monday night’s new Semifinals episode, featuring Shadow Ace. The talented shadow puppeteer got judge Simon Cowell in on the fun in his new routine.

Shadow Ace Performs in AGT: Fantasy League Early Release

Shadow Ace made it to the Semifinals of AGT Season 18 with his hilarious shadow puppet act. He returned for Fantasy League on Howie Mandel’s team, making it through to the Semifinals thanks to the audience vote.

For his Semifinals performance, he recruited Cowell to help him out by sitting in front of the screen to create a shadow of his profile. Shadow Ace then showed off some funny hand puppets that interacted with the judge.

Cowell’s fellow judges got a kick out of the performance, as Shadow Ace created the shape of a dog licking his face, someone picking his nose, and a cowboy dancing on his head to “Achy Breaky Heart” by Billy Ray Cyrus.

What Did the Judges Think of the Performance?

The judges gave Shadow Ace a standing ovation for his latest performance, and Cowell even gave him a hug afterward. Mandel told him that he “stepped it up” from the past, calling it his “funniest, best routine yet.”

Heidi Klum told Shadow Ace that the performance was “so funny,” but she criticized Cowell for not participating more. For example, she said he should have opened his mouth when Shadow Ace was pretending to brush his teeth.

Mel B told Shadow Ace that she “didn’t want that to stop,” calling the act “brilliant.” Cowell added that seeing the act up close made him realize just how “clever” it is. He said he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Shadow Ace makes it to the Finals.
