Vor ein paar Jahren habe ich eine Fernsehserie produziert, in der ich herausfinden wollte, was passiert, wenn ich durch Wales reise und nur Walisisch spreche. Es war ein sprachliches Experiment, doch ich war positiv überrascht, dass sogar in hauptsächlich englischsprachigen Gebieten die Einheimischen mehr Walisisch konnten, als sie gedacht hätten und auch bereit waren, es mit mir auszuprobieren, auch wenn sie nur wenige Worte wussten.
